Dan Bae

Dan spent 17 years in M&A and investment banking, most recently as a Director in Citi's TMT team in London, after roles at Moelis & Company and ANZ Investment Banking. Across those firms he advised on or led more than US$30 billion of transactions for founders, sponsors, and corporate teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

He subsequently founded amafi.ai and built technology products from initial problem definition through production delivery. That operating work covered product design, model and vendor decisions, evaluation, pricing, hiring, customer discovery, and the practical trade-offs involved in shipping AI-enabled systems.

At Amafi Advisory, Dan leads corporate finance and fundraising-readiness engagements, translating strategy into integrated financial models, investor materials, board narratives, and an accountable preparation process.

Karl Hu

Karl has worked across enterprise AI, technology-company finance, and regional operations. At Scale AI, he led finance for the Enterprise business and partnered with product, go-to-market, and delivery teams on planning, pricing, margins, and profitable growth.

Previously, Karl was CFO of Fazz, a Southeast Asian financial technology platform, and led strategic finance for Uber's Australia, New Zealand, and North Asia businesses. Earlier roles at UBS, Goldman Sachs, and Evercore developed his experience in technology-sector analysis and complex corporate decisions.

At Amafi Advisory, Karl leads fractional CFO and strategic-finance work, helping management teams connect product usage with unit economics, pricing, resource allocation, cash planning, reporting, and measurable business outcomes.
